Bandai Namco news keep coming and we cannot be more happy about it. Today’s exciting news is that Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth is finally coming to North America and Europe in 2016, only on PS4 and PS Vita. Fans of the franchise were so vocal about it with petitions and whatnot and to see the game finally getting localized is awesome.
Note: In North America, the PS4 version will get a physical release and on PS Vita it will be available via PSN. In Europe, both the PS4 and PS Vita versions of the game will be available only as digital download, at least for now.
The game was initially announced and released as a PS Vita exclusive in Japan and it did pretty well in the first week. In Japan, Vita is not doing as badly as in the rest of the world so it makes sense. It’s interesting to see that Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth will come to the West not only on PS4, thanks to its worldwide success, but on PS Vita too, thanks to the aforementioned vocal fans.
