According to Shueisha’s V Jump magazine, Bandai Namco Entertainment’s Digimon World: Next Order International Edition game will be released in January, 2017. The game will release in the European market on January 27th, while Americas will get the game on January 31st. Japan, on the other hand, will receive this game one month later, that is, on February 16.
The huge success of Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth has contributed to the development of this latest installment in the series. This International Edition, made as a PlayStation 4 exclusive, is an update of the Japan-only game released for the PlayStation Vita in January 2016.
You can play as either, Takuto (the male protagonist), or Shiki (the female lead) as they are transported in to the Digital World. You’ll then be given the option to choose between Agumon, Gabumon, Palmon, and Biyomon to be your partner Digimon. You main aim is to explore the Digital World, and help your Digimon evolve in to a stronger form.
The Shueisha’s V Jump magazine also stated that a total of 12 additional Digimons have been added to the game. These include MagnaGarurumon and EmperorGreymon, who can be combined through ExE Evolution to create Susanoomon.
