Digimon fans in the West looking to play Digimon World Re: Digitize will finally get to do so, as the game has received its long-awaited English translation. The fan translation patch comes 3 years after its original launch, with the game now having the option to play with English subtitles.
The good news is that it has been tested extensively over a period of around two weeks, and the game is mostly bug-free, with only a few users complaining about game crashes. A fix for these game crashes is currently being worked on.
The translation team is proud of the hard work they have put into this fan translation project. While no typos or errors spotted in the translation, the team has put in extra effort to allow the patcher program to release updates if and when required. Though, all of the 1.0 patches are already included with the program.
If you’d like to learn more about the fan translation project, how it came to be, and what it took for the team to get where they are now, you should check out the “Legend of Operation Decoded” post on their blog.
