With just ten days to go until the official launch of Dishonored 2, Bethesda Softworks has announced that the game has officially gone gold.
The announcement was made via a post on the official Bethesda website, where the developer made the news available alongside a picture of the Arkane Studios development team. What this basically means is that development on the game has been fully completed, and all that’s left now is to send the master disc to replication facilities that will mass produce it for the market.
The post also had this to say:
“Prepare for your visit to Karnaca and get ready to take back what’s yours with Emily Kaldwin and Corvo Attano. Will you choose a stealthy, non-lethal approach? Or will you create chaos and leave a trail of blood and bodies in your wake? Are you going to accept the Mark of the Outsider and battle your foes with the help of otherworldly powers? Or will you reject the Outsider and rely instead on flesh and steel – along with your wits and the environment – to get by? Whatever you choose, we are excited to see all of the ways you will play Dishonored 2.”
The announcement was also made alongside the reveal of the system requirements for the game on PC, which can be found here.
Dishonored 2 is slated for release on 11th November, 2016 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and the PC. Pre-ordering the game now will allow early access to it a day ahead of launch.
