The upcoming cricket game, Don Bradman Cricket 17, from Big Ant Studios finally has a release date. The dev has announced that the game is set to release on December 22 for PS4 and Xbox One while the PC version will be available via Steam “one month later”.
The PS4 and Xbox One version will be available at retail outlets as well as via digital stores. But as it seems, there might not be a disc version of the game available at retail for PC because the press release did not mention any. All that was said for PC was that it would be available via steam a month later.
Ross Symons, CEO Big Ant Studios, had the following to say during the press release:
“We have built completely new batting, bowling and fielding mechanics based on player feedback. With Don Bradman 17 releasing right in the heart of the Aussie cricket season, we’re looking forward to players recreating the classic moments of the summer of cricket in their homes.”
Ross Symons also said that he is really happy at the response and success that the first Don Bradman game has received. As a result they have put extra effort into this game, most of which are based on direct feedback with the fans.
The game will be available for PS4 and Xbox One for $60. Though pre-order is still not available for the PC version, you can download the free nets mode for Don Bradman 17 via Steam.
