Doom Release Date Revealed For PC, PS4 And Xbox One, Collector’s Edition Deatiled

id Software has finally revealed the release date of their upcoming science fiction title, Doom. Along with the release date, the developers have also revealed some details about its Collector’s Edition.

The Collector’s Edition is now available for pre-order at a price of $119.99 US / £99.99 UK and includes the game along with some extra goodies. The main highlight of this Collector’s Edition is the 12-inch statue of one of the game’s demon known as The Revenant. The statue is kind of awesome as it can spin too, while standing on its little platform which consists of LEDs. Along with the statue, the Collector’s Edition also includes a steelbook case and some in-game content, that is The Demon Multiplayer pack.

To celebrate this announcement, Bethesda has also released a new trailer for Doom which gives us a glimpse at the game’s campaign. You can have a look at that trailer below.

Doom is set to launch on May 13, 2016 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The game is the fourth major installment in the critically acclaimed Doom series, the previous one being Doom 3 which was released 12 years ago. The game is developed by id Software and published by Bethesda Softworks.
