DOOM is going to get an Xbox One X update soon judging from change to the official support website. DOOM patch for the Xbox One X was initially listed as in development on the support website but it has recently been changed to coming soon which point towards an update launching soon for the Xbox One X.
DOOM is the only Bethesda game from 2016 that has yet to get an official update for PS4 Pro or Xbox One X. It was confirmed to get an update for the Xbox One X at E3 2017 although there is no confirmation for a similar update on the PS4 Pro.
DOOM was one of the most technically impressive game when it launched on the PS4 and Xbox One. It used to run at a dynamic resolution with upper limit of 1080p and maintained smooth 60 FPS. It also looked visually impressive thanks to the in-house engine by Bethesda Softworks. It remains to be seen what kind of visual upgrades it will being for the Xbox One X, and whether PS4 Pro users will benefit from a similar update.
DOOM launched in 2016 and it is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. It was developed and published by Bethesda Softworks.
