Dragon Ball FighterZ Gets Its First Review Awarding It Near Perfect Score

Dragon Ball FighterZ is out on January 26th for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. Just like it was the case with Monster Hunter World, which is out on the same date, the first review for Dragon Ball FighterZ has been published in a French magazine, Jeux Video.

The review for the game gives it 19 out of 20 which is close to perfect rating. The review excerpts are in French but resetERA member nitoo has translated them in English.

Arc System Works have achieved accessibility without compromising on the richness and dynamism of the gameplay.
Each match is truly like an episode of the show unfolding…but without the endless fights.
Despite not having the original themes of the show, the soundtrack remains energetic.
The game offers both enough complexity for versus amateurs and solo content for more casual players.
With Dragon Ball FighterZ, Arc System Works realises the dream of many fighting games addicts. Not only is it perfectly true to the original material, but we also get to appreciate the developer’s mythical expertise.

Dragon Ball FighterZ received an open beta recently that had a total of 8 characters available to play. The full game is set to launch on January 26th and it is currently confirmed for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. The game is being developed by Arc System Works and will be published by Bandai Namco.
