Dragon Ball: The Breakers revealed; unique 7v1 online multiplayer set in Xenoverse universe

Bandai Namco has just revealed Dragon Ball: The Breakers, a brand new 8 player online multiplayer title that is set in the Dragon Ball Xenoverse canon.

The Xenoverse sub-series has proved to be very popular for Bandai Namco, with the publisher opting more titles in the series with the latest being The Breakers. The game will also feature the ability to link your Xenoverse save files for what we assumed post-launch bonuses when the game comes out.

The game features an 8 player online multiplayer that comes both co-op and competitive game modes. Matches are set in a 7v1 setting with 7 “Survivors” going against a supe’d up “Raider” played by the eighth person.

A closed beta for PC was also announced, although we’re not yet sure of further details like how to take part in it. We’ll keep you updated as we find out more.

Dragon Ball: The Breakers will be available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch later in 2022.
