Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 came out of nowhere last week when developers Bandai Namco announced the game with a short teaser trailer. Hopefully more information including some gameplay is shown off at E3.
The game will release for PC, PS4 and Xbox One in the West but in its home country of Japan, Xenoverse 2 will be exclusive to the Playstation 4.
This is not surprising since the Xbox One flopped in Japan. As far as the PC version is concerned maybe Bandai Namco didn’t deem it viable enough?
The original Xenoverse, which I loved by the way, released on the above mentioned platforms as well as the PS3 and Xbox 360. The game sold big, over 3.13 million units were reported a couple of months ago. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is current generation only so expect a much more polished game with the last generation consoles not dragging it back anymore.
Xenoverse 2 is set to release later this year although a set release date is yet to be announced. Looking forward the game? Let us know what you think of the game in the comments below.
