Dragon Ball Xenoverse sells a whooping 3.13 million units worldwide

Dragon Ball games always sell big but Dragon Ball Xenoverse hit the jackpot and sold a massive 3.13 million units worldwide. With Dragon Ball Xenoverse, Bandai Namco took the games into a new direction and made an original story with players playing as their own avatar. The new direction definitely worked as the game despite some of its nagging issues is a blast to play.

As a huge fan of the series, I absolutely loved Dragon Ball Xenoverse and playing as my own created DBZ character. Read my review here.

The game was released in February last year for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Check out the sales numbers divided by region below:

  • Japan – 230,000 units
  • Asia – 60,000 units
  • America – 1.78 million units
  • Europe – 1.05 million units

A sequel is pretty much a done thing judging by these numbers!
