Square Enix has just announced that Dragon Quest X is coming to iPhone and iPad this Winter in Japan. This announcement was a joint effort of both Square Enix and NTT Docomo.
Dragon Quest X on iPhone and iPad will feature the same content as the console counterparts. Since Dragon Quest X is a online MMO, it will utilize cloud service for online play and use touch screen for controls.
NTT Docomo is a Japanese mobile phone operator and has recently launched iPhone 5c in Japan. It also ranks second in selling iPhone/iPad in Japan.
