Dragon Quest XI Ranks In Best Sellers On Amazon And PSN, Sells More Than 100K On PC

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age is proving to be a success for Square Enix on PC and PS4.

Dragon Quest XI has passed 100k sales on PC. The game also seems to be doing rather well on PS4 where it is ranking above NBA 2K19 and below the 2 Spider-Man PS4 editions.

The sales estimate for the PC version is available to view on SteamSpy, which is somewhere between 100k to 200k. The user reviews are also very positive with 91% user giving it a positive rating overall. It has a total of 918 reviews at the time of writing this article.

As for the PS4 version, you can find it ranking in the Top games on the PS4 just below Spider-Man. This ranking applies to just the US PlayStation Store and each regional store will offer its own ranking. The digital version of the game is titled as ‘Edition of Light’ and comes with some accessories to help the users early in the game.

Taking a look at the Amazon US best sellers for the whole year, it seems to be in the Top 100 list with a ranking of 84 as of right now. It also opened to number 2 in sales in UK weekly charts just below Spider-Man and kept its place going into the second week as well.

All of this bodes well for this RPG in term of western sales. It was a massive success in Japan for Square Enix where it sold through 1.52 million on PS4 and 1.85 million copies on 3DS, according to the last sales figure shared by Famitsu. It is also set to launch as Dragon Quest XI S on the Nintendo Switch.
