Square Enix has released a new update for Dragon Quest XI today for the PS4. Here’s what it does.
Dragon Quest XI recently received a major update for the PC and PS4. This update patched the game to version 1.01 but this was followed by another minor update today. Dragon Quest XI update version 1.02 is available to download now on the PS4, although there is no equivalent update on PC available as of yet.

- Fixed a horse riding-related issue.
- Removed naming restrictions for the hero.

Dragon Quest XI is available now for the PS4 and PC. The game has managed to be a success for Square Enix by bringing in almost twice the dollar revenue from the last franchise-best record. It has also done well in Japan despite being the first proper Dragon Quest game that launched on a console.
Dragon Quest XI was developed under the direction of Yuji Hori, who is the creator of this franchise. The game was also released for Steam along with the PC, where it is doing great so far after having more than 100 thousand copies sold through Steam Store.
