Drakengard 3 delayed till December to increase the game’s quality

Bad news for Dragon centric RPG fans as the long awaited sequel, Drakengard 3 has been delayed in it’s home developed country of Japan. The new release date for Drakengard 3 is December 19th which is more than a month after it’s previous release of October 31st.

Unlike the previous two Drakengard games, Drakengard 3 has a new cast of characters and by the looks of it doesn’t seem to be connected to the previous games storywise. Drakengard 3 isn’t being developed by it’s original team at Cavia either, as it’s now made by Lord of Apocalypse developed Access Games so a whole lot has changed.

Will the game be good or end up being mediocre like most JRPGs this gen? Guess only time will tell.

Side note: We’re talking about the game’s Japanese release here, don’t let the Drakengard name in the title confuse you. I used that because the game’s original Japanese name Drag-on-Dragoon isn’t very well know. Anyway we’re still only confirmed for a Japan release, whether this games comes to the west is still not decided.
