Media Molecule’s Alex Evans took to the stage at Sony’s E3 press conference and announced Dreams, its brand new project for the PS4. It is a creative suite for with which you can create detailed and complex environments as well as characters via the Dualshock 4. The stage demo showed the controller’s gyroscopic capabilities put to good use, as Evans managed to create and animate a character from scratch in a matter of seconds.
The presentation showcased a toolset that will enable players to create their own games, plays, music or even performance. The footage demonstrated several examples of scenes using the aforementioned toolset, including a character playing a piano out in the wilderness, a polar bear carrying its child across a snow storm, and a ship flying through a futuristic setting.
