Techland has released a brand new update for Dying Light on the PS4, Xbox One and PC today that adds the two new free DLC, also called content drop. These are labeled as Content Drop 4 and 5 respectively and both will be a part of the free update that is around 1.3 GB in size and should be live for downloading on all the major platforms.
Dying Light has received a major story expansion called The Following and so far it is one of the most supported game post-launch by Techland. The new content drop adds the following free DLC to the game.
Content Drop #4 takes players to Prison Island — a brand new location to discover. This isolated fortress is home to Prison Heist, a fresh game mode where you must break into the armory as fast as you can — either solo or with friends in co-op. The faster you break in, the better the rewards. This is a time-attack mode designed for seasons players, so come prepared!
Content Drop #5, also available now, brings Sgt. Deathrow — a previously unknown Demolisher mutation — to Old Town. He’s bigger, stronger, and more unpredictable, but killing him gives you a monster shot of experience points.
Techland has also confirmed that the next content drop will arrive in later April. This won’t be the end of free DLC as the plan to offer post-launch DLC support is much more than just 6 content drops for Dying Light.
