Dying Light’s latest update for its upcoming The Following expansion and enhanced edition content is now live on PS4 and Xbox One. This update will upgrade the version to enhanced edition and also add DLC support for the next story expansion called The Following.
Dying Light: Enhanced Edition is set to release today on Feb 9th for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. You can now download this update on PS4, which requires around 8 GB, or on Xbox One, which will require around 17 GB of data to be downloaded. This patch also updates the game to version 1.09.
Dying Light: Enhanced Edition is also a free upgrade for the base game and even if you don’t have The Following expansion, you will receive this update containing the following enhancements.

Dying Light: The Following expansion is a part of the game’s season pass and will cost $19.99 if you buy it separately from the Season Pass, or $30 with the Season Pass included. It adds driveable buggies and a whole new world map to the game which the developers claim is almost as big as the original game’s world map.
