Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture is now available for preload on the PS Store, with a download size of 5.7GB. If you have the Playstation 4 title pre-ordered, the download should begin the next time you boot the console. Alternatively, if you’ve got your console on standby, the download should already be underway.
In addition to the game download, a 313MB day one title update will also be added to your download list. Patch notes are currently unavailable, but they are likely to be the standard performance and bug fixes that are par for the course for games these days.
Playstation Plus subscribers who are interested in purchasing up the game should do so now, as it is available with a 20% discount for all subscribers up until its release. As a bonus for pre-ordering, PS Plus subscribers also get a dynamic theme.
Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture takes place in the fictional city of Shropshire, and takes you on an apocalyptic adventure that leads you to the discovery of several stories and secrets. The game will revolve around six main characters, whose stories will unravel as you experience their memories.
In response to a fan who asked about the game’s length, developer The Chinese Room confirmed that Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture will have a duration of 4 to 6 hours, depending on how much time you spend exploring the game’s world.
