Fallout 4 Could Be A Cross-Gen Release, PS3 And X360 Version Spotted In Website Source Code – Report

Fallout 4 could be another cross-generation release as the official website source code reveals PS3 and Xbox 360 version in addition to PS4, Xbox One and Steam.

The official website of Fallout 4 has gone live and its source code has a listing for PS3 and Xbox 360, as can be seen in the image below.


Bethesda is set to announce an RPG for PS3, Xbox 360, PS4, Xbox One and PC at E3. This was revealed by the E3 official website, where most of the publishers announcement are semi-revealed. We can see that Bethesda is set to announce an RPG at E3 2015 for previous and current generation consoles in addition to PC (via Nibel).


As can be seen in the source code, this new RPG could be Fallout 4, which makes it a cross-generation release. Hopefully this doesn’t mean they won’t utilize the potential of current generation consoles.
