Fallout 4 director Todd Howard has confirmed to Digital Spy that the game will run at 1080p and 30 fps on the PS4 and Xbox One. This is the standard resolution for most of the current generation games so this news shouldn’t really be surprising for the most part.
“It is 1080p on everything,” confirmed Todd Howard in his interview to Digital Spy. The quote about everything is rather ambiguous but it would be silly to assume he also meant PC version of the game, which is usually able to run at variable resolution and frame rate.
Fallout 4 was revealed ahead of Bethesda’s E3 2015 conference and was given a gameplay reveal and release date at E3 2015. It is currently set for a release on November 10th 2015 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. Bethesda Softworks has confirmed that they have no plans to release this game on the PS3 or Xbox 360.
