Bethesda Softworks has shared an update on the state of the Fallout 76 beta. This beta is confirmed to launch early for the Xbox One while the PC and PS4 users will have to wait for a while before they can get access to the beta.
Today, Bethesda Softworks has updated the official FAQ for the Fallout 76 beta and mentioned an important information regarding the progress being able to carry over to the final game. According to the official FAQ listing, Fallout 76 beta will be indeed the full game and the progress will be saved for launch.
Q: IS THE B.E.T.A. GOING TO BE THE FULL GAME AND WILL MY PROGRESS CARRY OVER TO LAUNCH?
A: Our current plan for the B.E.T.A. is it will be the full game and all your progress is saved for launch. We hope you join us!
It is important to mention that the answer here makes it clear that it is currently their plan to do so, but it can still change by the time the beta version arrives for the Xbox One. That said, it will be interesting to see how the progress is saved and carried over to the final game since it can have an impact for those who will be playing it at launch instead of gaining progress earlier with the beta access.
Fallout 76 will be available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC on November 14, 2018.
