Fallout 76 Beta Download Size Is Massive, No Pre-Load Supported

Fallout 76 Beta will be essentially the full game so it makes sense that the download size will reflect that, and it has been confirmed officially by Bethesda Softworks now.

Bethesda Softworks announced the server launch date for the Fallout 76 beta and now we also know the download size for the client.

The official FAQ for Fallout 76 was updated today and the download size for the Beta client was added to it. The size listed on it is approximately 45 GB. Bethesda confirmed that the Beta won’t be available to pre-load currently, but the wording implies that it might change in the future.

There are no PC requirements listed for the game yet because according to Bethesda, they are “still working on compatibility testing and will share minimum and recommended PC specs” as the launch of the beta draws closer.

There will be no NDA on the Beta and sharing is actually encouraged. Bethesda says: “Nope, we encourage you to share your experience! Beginning on October 23 on Xbox One, and October 30 on PlayStation 4 and PC, anyone in the B.E.T.A. can freely stream, post screenshots, create content, and share their feedback with us. Anything posted prior to the official B.E.T.A. is in violation of an NDA.”

Fallout 76 will be out on November 14th for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
