Fallout 76 features Lockpicking with the system working similarly to the previous games in the series.
You get Fallout 76 Lockpicking by using Perk Cards with the new SPECIAL System, which works in a completely different way. Now you have to equip skills in your SPECIAL slots to have them work instead of being able to use them all the time.
You unlock Lockpicking in Fallout 76 at Level 5. You can then select it to level up and unlock, and finally equip. The lockpicking skill has three tiers, with each allowing you to unlock higher level locks.
Picklock allows you to unlock Level 1 Locks, Expert Picklock grants the ability to break through Level 2 Locks and finally Master Picklock grants access through Level 3 Locks.
To Lockpick in Fallout 76 you’ll need Bobby Pins. Like previous games you can find them all around the world, dead enemies or at merchants for 12 caps per pin. The mini-game is super easy in my opinion, you just have to find the perfect spot to twist the bobby pin guided by the controller’s vibration.
