Far Cry 4 Officially Announced, Releasing On 18th November

Far Cry 4 has officially been revealed by Ubisoft. The game is set to launch on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC this November.

In a post on the official blog, Ubisoft shared more details about the game, its world and characters. Far Cry 4 is set in Kyrat, a place that is being ruled by a “despotic self-appointed” king. Just like it was the case in Far Cry 3, there is a huge open world waiting to be explored by the players, full of dangers and surprises.

Dan Hay, executive producer of Far Cry, stated that the success of Far Cry 3 motivated them to continue with the series and take it to the next level.

Following the success of Far Cry 3, we wanted to take the franchise to the next level and create a game that will surprise players and exceed fans’ expectations, Given the unique setting, we feel Far Cry 4 will stand out as a top first-person shooter and we’re eager to reveal more about the game in the coming months.

The game is in development at Ubisoft Montreal in collaboration with Red Storm Entertainment, Ubisoft Toronto, Ubisoft Shanghai and Ubisoft Kiev.

It is set to be released on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC on November 18th of this year.
