Far Cry 5 Update 1.04 Is Live; Full Patch Notes Revealed

Ubisoft has finally released patch 1.04 for the PS4 and Xbox One today after it was released last week for PC. This update aims to fix some of the bugs and glitches that the players are experiencing in the game after launch.

The download size of this update is under 1 GB and it should be available to download now. The full set of patch notes can be read below.

Stability & Performance

  • Fixed low occurrence crashes and walkthrough breaks
  • Additional quality bug fixes
  • Fixed low occurrence save corruption

Companion, Enemy, & Animal AI

  • Fixed low repro AI issues

Design & Mission Progression

  • Fixed issues preventing silver bar purchase
  • Fixed minor bugs

Gameplay & UI

  • Fixed minor bugs

COOP and Online

  • Improved COOP connectivity
  • Fixed low occurrence COOP specific walkthrough breaks
  • Fixed voice communication issue where players could be permanently muted
  • Hurk was blowing up the client player when in a helicopter, fixed that.

Far Cry Arcade

  • Improved map download efficiency
  • Fixed various Arcade gameplay issues
  • Fixed issue where map textures would be extremely low
  • Improved PVP matchmaking
  • Fixed lobby loadout selection and map selection issues

Map Editor

  • Fixed issue with Arcade Editor crashes


Far Cry 5 will be undergoing a maintenance on PS4 and Xbox One from 9:00 EDT through 9:45 EDT. There will be an additional maintenance on PS4, Xbox One, Uplay PC, and Steam from 14:00 EDT through 16:00 EDT.
