Ubisoft has finally released the latest update for Far Cry 5. The patch is currently live on the PC and will be available on other platforms shortly afterwards. If you are looking for the full patch notes, they can be seen from here.
Some of the changes that are mentioned in the patch notes include the fix to the night time issue. Some players were stuck with permanent night time after completing certain story missions. Another bug made some players unable to continue with their save after completing the game, although that seems to have been fixed for now.
The Far Cry 5 servers are also currently undergoing maintenance in time for the update. Here are some of the new additions in this new update.
- Added the option to re-do the character creation process from the Avatar Customization menu
- Added support for Masks and Special Outfits in the Avatar Customization menu
- Subtitles turned on by default for all languages when launching a New Game
