Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Release Date Announced, Includes Final Fantasy XV Demo

Square Enix has confirmed the release date of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD. The high definition remaster of the PSP exclusive will be released on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 17th, 2015. A playable demo of Final Fantasy XV will be included with the game.

This news came from GameInformer, who confirmed the news about the demo and release date of Type-0 HD. The Final Fantasy XV playable demo includes some of the opening sections of the game. The demo is titled “Episode Duscae” and will be released alongside Final Fantasy Type-0 HD in the form of a downloadable code initially, and a public release at a later date.


Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is a high definition remaster of the PlayStation Portable release, which is being localized for the first time. It was originally released on the exclusively on the PSP in Japan and never made its way to the West. It was confirmed for a release on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One at this year’s E3.
