Final Fantasy VII Remake Trailer shown off during Sony State of Play broadcast

Final Fantasy VII Remake, the long awaited remake of the PS1 original, was just shown off during today’s Sony State of Play broadcast. The trailer featured a fresh look at the game and the new battle system.

The short but sweet trailer was just a tease for more to come as the end slide promised more information in June. This if you haven’t realized, is alluding to a bigger showing at this year’s E3 which begins on the 11th of June. So just about a month left till us fans can get another look at the game we’ve all been waiting so long for.

Final Fantasy VII Remake was also confirmed to be in development for the PS4, unlike past rumors which suggested the game had been moved to the PS5 instead. There were also rumors that the game was going multi-platform, with the Xbox One being a possible additional platform for the game but those too were unconfirmed.
