Final Fantasy VII was released on the Nintendo Switch recently but it seems to come with its own problems. One of the common problems is related to the music which used to loop after a battle ends so players couldn’t properly hear the soundtrack.
Final Fantasy VII has been patched to version 1.01 by Square Enix. Along with the music bug, which also exists in Final Fantasy IX, they have fixed the issue with the transitions from game to cutscenes. Here is what is included in this new update.
- Music will now resume where it left off once a battle has concluded.
- Transitions between cutscenes and gameplay no longer have a frame of black screen.
- The flashback scene that played incorrect music now plays the correct music.
This update was released earlier today for the Nintendo Switch. Square Enix hasn’t shared an update to fix the same issue that exists in the Nintendo Switch port of Final Fantasy IX.
Final Fantasy VII is getting a full remake that was recently shown by Square Enix. It will be released exclusively for the PS4.
