Geoff Keighley confirms on twitter that there isn’t any Final Fantasy related news expected at VGX. People were hoping for new info on Final Fantasy XV or at least something related to Final Fantasy Type-0 on VITA but sadly it seems like we will have to wait for a while now.
Final Fantasy XV was recently revealed at E3 2013. It was originally called Final Fantasy Versus XIII but got a name change to Final Fantasy XV and became a mainline Final Fantasy title. Final Fantasy XV has been missing in the headlines ever since the E3 reveal. We have only got a few seconds of new footage after E3 on TGS and that was also mixed with the same old footage shown at E3, 2013.

Final Fantasy XV will be released for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It is being developed by Square Enix and directed by Tetsuya Nomura of Kindgom Hearts fame. It is the first game in the Final Fantasy series, that is action-based and not turn-based like old school Final Fantasy games.
