Square Enix has confirmed HD Remaster for Final Fantasy XII based on the International Zodiac Job System version of the game, which was previously only available in Japan and never made it to overseas.
Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is due out in 2017 exclusively for the PS4. You can check out its trailer below.
Final Fantasy XII was originally released for the PS2 in 2006. It later received a new version titled International Zodiac Job System but unfortunately this version was never localized for the West. The upcoming HD remaster of Final Fantasy XII is based on this new version and features improved visuals and gameplay including the new Zodiac Job system.
The Zodiac Age will feature improved graphics, 7.1 Sound, Japanese/English audio, shorter load times and newly arranged music for the HD remaster. It is currently set for a release in 2017 for the PS4.
