Remember when we reported a couple of months back that the Final Fantasy XIV Beta would be open to “all” PS4 users. That time is now upon us as Sqaure Enix have confirmed the news on their official blog
“Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will finally be released on Sony’s Next Gen platform.
Ok, so maybe we’re a little over the top here, but FFXIV is finally coming to where it belongs – the living rooms of millions of PS4 owners – and we’re celebrating it! We’re not only celebrating it by making sure that you’ll have a great gaming experience, but also by providing you with everything you need.”
If you are a PS4 owner and a fan of the series, then all you have to do is open the Playstation Store and download the beta by searching for Final Fantasy. It is recommended that you uninstall any previous clients just to make sure that you do not encounter any bugs.
The beta will be accessible uptill April 7th. It will be using live servers so you will enjoy the same experience which other 1.8 million players enjoy.
The game is officially scheduled to be launched on PS4 on April 14 and if you have pre-ordered it, then you’ll have early access to it and you can start playing on 11th.
