Square Enix’s latest expansion for their long running MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV Shadowbringers could possibly be coming to the Xbox One.
A rating for the game on the Xbox One showed up on the official Brazilian video game rating board at the same date as the other platforms the game was previously confirmed for.
Final Fantasy XIV Shadowbringers is currently confirmed to released on July 2nd for the PS4 and PC (both Windows and Mac).
Square Enix has showed interest in the past to bring over their premier MMORPG to the Xbox platform in the past but according to reports Microsoft has been hesitant at the notion of cross-play between the other platforms. This notion seems to have been changed in recent as Microsoft has been strongly encouraging cross-play for games on their platform.
In related news, the game’s director was recently revealed to be working on a new large scale next-generation project.
