In the video, it can be seen that Chocobos can move pretty fast, and that you can press the jump button twice to make it drift in the air. Chocobos can be rented in Gil for as long as 30 days. Once you have acquired one, you can call upon it at any time. When not riding your Chocobo, it will continue to follow you for a while. In addition, there is no meta game involving the raising or breeding of Chocobos.

Meanwhile, the fishing mini-game will allow you to catch different types of fish using various fishing rods, and you can cook and eat them later on back at your camp.

regis

New background details regarding certain characters from Final Fantasy XV were also revealed at the event. King Regis is the crystal’s current guardian, and he too can wield weapons from thin air. In his youth he fought beside Cid and General Cor. Regis’ dramatic aging process is somehow linked to him maintaining a shield of energy around Lucis. His queen i.e. Notis’ mother, died when her son was still an infant.

Luna is the youngest oracle ever, and she also happens to be blessed with the ability to speak to the gods. She lives in Tenebrae, a city under control of the Niflheim empire. The empire is the dominant force in Final Fantasy XV’s world, with the kingdom of Lucis being the only area out of its grasp. Due to her position as an oracle as well as her immense inner strength, Tenebrae has a certain degree of autonomy. As children, Luna and Noctis made a promise to each other. However, at this point, it is not clear what that promise was.

gentiana

A new character by the name of Gentiana has been revealed in the latest artwork from Final Fantasy XV. Not much is known about the black-haired woman other than the fact that she is said to play an important role in the game.
