Square Enix has announced a brand new demo for their upcomong action RPG, Final Fantasy XV. In a livestream presentation that was held today, the game director, Hajime Tabata, talked about this demo.
This demo is called Judgment Disc and it will let the users play the first half of Chapter 1 on easy difficulty. It s essentially an hour long demo comprising of the first chapter of the game. The demo will launch on November 11, you can check it out in the image below.
The demo is only confirmed for Japan for now and there are no plans yet for a release worldwide. But knowing that the Stream is for Japanese viewers, there is a good chance this demo is released worldwide as well.
In other news, Square Enix also confirmed the PS4 Pro support for the game. They are planning to add two modes in the game, one being run at native 1080p with unlocked frame rate that aims for 60 fps, while the other mode is 4K rendering at 30 fps. The game currently runs at 40-50 fps on the PS4 Pro and they are planning to release a patch that will improve it further in December.
Final Fantasy XV will be released on November 29th for the PS4 and Xbox One.
