Final Fantasy XV: How To Increase EXP Gained By 50%

final fantasy xv

When Noctis and his friends make camp in Final Fantasy XV, they can eat a variety of dishes made by their fellow companion Ignis. This is however more than just a simple gimmick in the game, as cooking plays a very important role in Final Fantasy XV.

Cooking grants characters a number of significant combat enhancing buffs such as increases to Attack, HP and Magic. But there is one meal that, while does not provide any combat related bonuses, provides a staggering 50% increase to the experience gained by your party after a fight.

This is the Stacked Ham Sandwich, and you need to do a number of quests from Wiz, the guy you can rent Chocobos from, in order to unlock it’s recipe.

These quests are:

1.Where the Wild Chocobos Are:

  • Client: Wiz.
  • How To Initiate: Interact with the book lying on the table next to Wiz at his Chocobo Farm.
  • Requirements: You have to travel to the Nebulawood area of the Duscae region and take the photo of a specific Chocobo running wild in that area. Then just go back to the Chocobo Farm and interact with the book again to complete the quest.
  • Reward: 500 EXP, Xelphatol Apple Seeds, Doman Plum Pits, Mamook Pear Seeds.

2.Bird on the Brink:

  • Client: Wiz.
  • How To Initiate: Interact with the same book to start a dialogue with Wiz.
  • Requirements: Travel to an injured Chocobo marked on the map and heal it with a Potion. Now go back to the farm and interact with the book again.
  • Reward: 1000 EXP, Curiel Greens.

3.A Feathery Feast:

  • Client: Wiz.
  • How To Initiate: Interact with the book one last time.
  • Requirements: Travel to the marker on the map and collect Aegir Roots. Now bring this back to Wiz.
  • Reward: 1,500 EXP, Access to the Fat Chocobo Triple-Decker.

Upon completion of the final quest, the player will gain access to the Fat Chocobo Triple-Decker sandwich. Purchasing this sandwich from Wiz for 1,100 Gil will then allow Ignis to learn the recipe for the Stacked Ham Sandwich. Cooking this at camp will now net players with a 50% increase to experience gain.
