Final Fantasy XV To Get Official Live Stream At TGS, Possibly For New Season Pass DLC

Square Enix has announced a live stream for Final Fantasy XV that is currently scheduled for September 23rd. This live stream is the only major announcement for the game since the Royal Edition launched this March and was followed by the confirmation of 4 brand new DLC episodes focusing on Ardyn, Luna, Noctis, and Aranea.

The new story DLC was planned to start arriving in early 2019, however, there have been no further details shared about it so far. Considering Tokyo Game Show is a major event in Japan, it could be the right time to share more information so it is highly likely that we will get more news on that day.

The live stream will broadcast on Twitch between 11:45 A.M. – 12:15 P.M. JST on September 23rd. You can watch it on the official Twitch streaming channel once it goes live.

Square Enix announced a roadmap for the future updates and DLC for Final Fantasy XV back in April and it also listed a major expansion for the Comrades DLC. This hasn’t been released yet so chances are that they will share some news at this event.

Final Fantasy XV is available now for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It has also received a Pocket Edition HD release for the Nintendo Switch in addition to the PS4 and Xbox One. The game was developed by Business Division 2 published by Square Enix. It was recently announced that the game has surpassed 8.1 million copies sold, making it the 6th best selling Final Fantasy game to-date.
