If you have played Final Fantasy XV and have not been able to get your hands on the Carbuncle Astral, you’re missing out. The Carbuncle and the Ruby Light ability it possesses is very useful if you are new to the Final Fantasy series.
If you have already completed Final Fantasy XV and have not managed to get your hands on the Carbuncle, this guide will help you obtain it. The Carbuncle astral can not be obtained in Final Fantasy XV. The Astral can only be obtained by playing through the Final Fantasy XV Platinum Demo.
How To Get The Carbuncle Astral:
To acquire the Carbuncle astral and its ability, Ruby Light, players must first download the Final Fantasy XV Platinum Demo. You must then play through the demo until you meet and acquire the Carbuncle. This will happen very early in the demo, so you won’t have to wait. If you get a message saying that you have unlocked Carbuncle when you begin Final Fantasy XV, then you can use the new Astral being in the main game. If you do not receive the message, then just play through the demo until you get it.
The Carbuncle is an incredibly useful Astral. It’s ability Ruby Light heals Noctis when his HP is low. Unfortunately, the Carbuncle is only available in Easy Mode, and can not be used in normal mode. Luckily, there are other Astral beings that can be summoned, which can turn the tide of battle.
