Square Enix has announced that the upcoming online multiplayer expansion for Final Fantasy XV is now delayed to Early November. It was originally set to launch at the end of October but the launch has now been pushed further back to an unannounced date in November.
Final Fantasy XV Comrades is a multiplayer expansion that is set during the ten years when Noctis is sleeping in the crystal while the world suffers with a terrible plague transforming it into darkness. The expansion is a part of the Season Pass or can be bought separately.
Square Enix shared the following statement regarding this short delay.
Due to final adjustments & to create the best possible experience, the online expansion FFXV Comrades will now be released in early November.
We’re sorry for any inconveniences this has caused.
Final Fantasy XV Comrades expansion features playable members of the Kingsglaive and attempts to diversify by including a unique combat and magic system. The game will also feature offline campaign if you don’t have anyone to play it with, or you can attempt the whole expansion online with friends. Recently, a beta test was also held for the expansion on the PS4 and Xbox One.
Final Fantasy XV is available now for the PS4 and Xbox One while it is currently set to launch in early 2018 for the PC.
