Final Fantasy XV is the latest RPG from Square Enix. It is the 15th installment in the long running Final Fantasy series. When the game was originally delayed from its September 30th release date, the game director Hajime Tabata stressed that they wanted to make sure the final retail version was feature complete without the day one patch.
Now that there are reports out there about the game getting its street date broken in Peru, information about its day one patch has surfaced. According to the screenshot shared by the Twitter user LordKelsen, the game has a day one patch of 7.2 GB.
Meanwhile those who have pre-ordered the digital version of the game on Xbox Live can now pre-load the game, and they will have to download a hefty 50 GB of data, which supposedly also includes the day 1 patch of the game. The screenshot below was shared by Twitter user Santa Robey.
Final Fantasy XV will be officially released on November 29th for the PS4 and Xbox One. It was originally set to launch on September 30th but it was delayed for two months to November 29th for further polish. The day one patch will reportedly fix the camera issues that were seen in the recently released demo as well as the preview copies sent to the press.
Let us know what do you think about the download size of the day 1 patch in the comments below.
