Final Fantasy XV has received a brand new update recently that patches the game to add support for the upcoming Royal Edition update. The Royal Edition will feature a Royal Pack DLC that is also available for all the base game users. The price of the DLC was originally confirmed to be $20 but Square Enix later removed it leading to rumors about a possible price decrease for it.
Now that the Royal Edition is playable thanks to early copies, and the update has been released for it, users in the Australian and New Zealand PlayStation Store can download the Royal Pack DLC. The price of the DLC is also listed on the store although unlike the earlier price of $20, it appears to be a little lower now.
The Royal Pack DLC can be accessed from here if you have a Australia/NZ PlayStation Store or Xbox Live account. It is being listed at $22.95/$23.95 respectively, which brings it closer to $15 in the North American store, although this hasn’t been officially confirmed yet. Update: It is live in the EU/UK PlayStation Store now where the price is listed as £11.99. Here is what is included for the Royal Pack DLC.
This exclusive pack contains all new content included in FINAL FANTASY XV ROYAL EDITION.
・Insomnia City Ruins – new map leading straight to the game’s climactic end
・First-Person View – mode allowing players to see Eos through Noctis’s eyes
・Armiger Unleashed – powered-up combat mode
・Royal Cruiser – open-sea exploration, new fishing spots and recipes
・Regalia Type-D – new acquisition and enhancement quests
Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition is set to launch on March 6th for the PS4 and Xbox One.
