Square Enix has appointed Final Fantasy XV Lead Programmer Tekesi Aramaki as the new Luminous Studio Head (via).
In addition to being the game’s lead programmer, Aramaki also led the game’s later released PC version which has been receiving constant updates post release.
Last month Final Fantasy XV Director and Luminous Studio COO and Studio Head Hajime Tabata left the company. He recently started his own studio called JP Games.
Luminous Studio is reportedly working on a next-gen AAA title that’s not a Final Fantasy title. Sounds super interesting but it’ll be a while before we see the game being unveiled.
