Square Enix has released a brand new update for Final Fantasy XV today. This is the major June content update that was teased earlier and it adds off-road driving to the game which makes the car no longer on rails. You will be able to drive the car off the road and even bump into monsters. The car can also perform a high jump which can result in some nice results along the way.
The download size for this new update is rather large, weighing it at around 8.6 GB. This update should be available to download on the PS4 and Xbox One. The changelog doesn’t mention anything important for the update and just lists basic bug fixes. The update has also removed the survey option from the main menu so if you didn’t vote yet, you have missed the chance to vote for the next story and content update for Final Fantasy XV.
The updated Regalia can be accessed by going to Cindy and asking her to upgrade your car to Type-D. It adds new animations and dialogue related to the new driving mode. You can also access the soundtrack of Episode Prompto that is set to release tomorrow after installing this update.
Final Fantasy XV is available now for the PS4 and Xbox One.
