Square Enix has shared the official benchmark for Final Fantasy XV on PC ahead of its launch on March 6th. The benchmark tool is available to download now and lets you test the game running on PC by going through a variety of different visual options to see if your PC hardware can handle the game.
Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition is the official PC version that will launch alongside the Royal Version for PS4 and Xbox One on March 6th. The game will include all of the post-launch updates and DLCs that have been released so far. The system requirements for Final Fantasy XV were already a bit too high with 155 GB of hard disk space needed for 4K. If you are curious to test it out now, the benchmark download link can be seen below.
1. Download the zip file.
Download the required zip file from the download button below.
2. Decompress the zip file.
Decompress the downloaded file in a location of your choosing.
3. Run the installer.
Run the file “ffxvbench_installer.exe” that has been decompressed and saved.
4. Select the display language before thoroughly reading and agreeing to the user agreement.
* If Microsoft.NET Framework 4.6 is not installed on the system environment then the .NET Framework installer will boot up at this point. This software is required to run the Benchmark, so please install it.
Final Fantasy XV is available now for the PS4 and Xbox One. The game will launch on PC with Windows Edition on March 6th while console owners can enjoy the Royal Edition along with the launch of the PC version.
