Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster for PS4 will feature a Music toggle

Square Enix is going a bit crazy with their Remasters but I certainly don’t mind playing Final Fantasy X on my PS4. X-2 wasn’t near as good but you can’t really complain. The upcoming Remaster is once again in the news as Square Enix has announced that the PS4 version of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will have a Music toggle.

The switch will allow players to choose between the remastered tracks and the original ones from the PS2 game. The PS3 and PS Vita versions did not have this feature.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster features a huge graphical upgrade to both Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2. Both games also have additional content included with the International versions. X will have Dark Aeons and X-2 will have the Final Mission.

All three versions of the game i.e PS4, PS3 and PS Vita feature cross save allowing you play your adventure on the go and at home. Unfortunately there is no cross-buy and all three versions are sold separately.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster releases for the Playstation 4 on May 12 in North America. Pre-orders will get fans a free calendar designed by Yoshitaka Amano.
