Leaked images on the internet suggest that the menus of Final Fantasy X and X-2 HD have been completed. The images showed the menus on a PlayStation Vita and on a large screen that was probably hooked to a PS3.
The interesting part is that the menus suggest that we will see Eternal Calm and The Last Mission in the remasters of Final Fantasy X and X-2 respectively. As you may know, Eternal Calm was a video that you could view in Final Fantasy X if you purchased the international version of the game. Similarly, the Last Mission is a mission that takes place at Yadonoki Tower in Final Fantasy X-2’s international release.
Sony released a new update for the PlayStation Vita today. This new update, version 2.6, allows users to upload and download your cloud save data using PlayStation Plus. This is done by using the icon on the game Live Area screen. This icon appears in the second image, strengthening the possibility that these images might be legit.
Square Enix has not yet confirmed this. However, this does not seem very far-fetched, and seeing how the Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD ReMIX is giving us the Final Mix version of Kingdom Hearts 1, I don’t see why Square Enix can’t give us the remasters of international releases of Final Fantasy X and X-2.
