The Fire Emblem series has finally gone mainstream according to latest sales figures

The Fire Emblem series was considered pretty obscure as the series failed to deliver on Nintendo’s sales targets. Fire Emblem Awakening was supposed to be the last game in the series if it did not do well, luckily for us the game was a great financial success.

Sales figures for the game have been finally released via Renka’s official website. Renka, a professional Japanese singer, will provide the singing voice of Aqua, the Dancer girl from the upcoming Fire Emblem if. The sales figures posted on her site reveal that Fire Emblem Awakening sold 1.79 million copies worldwide as of December 2014. The figure doesn’t include DLC sales.

Quite the comeback story.

Hopefully the next title in the series, Fire Emblem if does well, the series deserves as much success as it can get. What are you thoughts on the Fire Emblem series? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
