CD Project Red has released the first gameplay footage for Cyberpunk 2077 today. They had earlier showcased this footage at E3 2018 behind closed doors to selected members of the press. This is the first time there has been an actual gameplay footage release for Cyberpunk 2077. This was shared after the confirmation that the game is now playable from the beginning to end.
Cyberpunk 2077 is a brand new FPSRPG from CD Project Red based on the Cyberpunk universe. It features a fully open world where the emphasis is placed on vertical buildings with the freedom to explore them. It can also be described as Grand Theft Auto V in the first person with its driving and open world gameplay.
You can watch the first official gameplay footage below, which was streamed earlier before the full gameplay dropped.
The game is set in the Night City “the most vibrant and dangerous metropolis of the future.” You will create a custom male or female avatar at the start of the game and this will be your main character throughout the story.
Cyberpunk 2077 is currently confirmed for an announced set of platforms but it is likely going to show up on the PS4, PC, and Xbox One. There is also the possibility of a next-generation release later down the line depending on the time of the release date, which hasn’t been officially announced yet.
