First Footage Of Xbox One Version Of Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition Released

We have finally gotten a proper look at the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition on the Xbox One in this brand new video.

Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is getting a new release on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Crystal Dynamics has promised visual upgrades over the over PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. Sadly, they are also charging full retail price for it. You can check out this new footage of the Xbox One version below.

Executive Producer Scott Amos has explained that the project originally started by porting the PC version to the PS4/Xbox One. From there, they reworked on the models, revamped the lightning and multiplayer and focused on improving other features. That’s why it is being labeled as the “Definitive Edition” since it will also contain all the DLCs and extras, that were released for Tomb Raider.

You can check out a comparison between the PC version and the PS4/Xbox One version from here.

Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is set for a release on the PS4 and Xbox One on 28th January, 2014.
